Q: What will you never forget about James?
A: I remember help picking up single bales with Jim and Leo
Heavy bales that they could throw around with ease Leo had a 3 tine fork that he stuck in ground bales AND lifted them up to Jim and I on the wagon 4 layers high!
Jim also showed me how to field dress (gut) my 1st Douglas county buck! -15 degrees with his bare hands. It was very educational!
Jim was a super cousin. Will always remember the early and tough farming he did. He could out work anyone!

So sorry to hear of my cousin Jim's passing!
Jim was my boss at my age of 16-18 years old, he taught me so much and I will never forget that....
all the farm duties he had for me.. cattle, farming, running that fancy self propelled windrower...
He said I was the only person he knew who could cultivate 5 rows of corn with a 4 row cultivator....lol.
Later in life, he would ride with me in the Big combine to harvest and would talk my ear off with a big smile !

I will always remember the visits to the home farm while we were growing up before we moved to Wisconsin. I always enjoyed his stories then and when ever we were able to come back for a visit.
Jim and Linda were always there for our mom and dad when they moved back to Armour from Wisconsin.
Jim and my brother Bruce had a special bond. They were like brothers from different mothers. I miss them both.
