Obituary of Lila Joyce Kellogg

Corsica – Lila Joyce Kellogg, 84, went to her heavenly home Monday, June 9, 2025 at Good Samaritan Center – Corsica.  Funeral service will be Friday, June 13 at 2:00 pm, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Armour.  The service will be livestreamed on Redeemer Lutheran Church’s YouTube page.

Lila was born March 15, 1941 to Orville and Mildred (Brandis) Dvoracek in Lake Andes, SD.  She attended Lake Andes High School and later obtained her GED.  She was united in marriage to Ron Kellogg on August 18, 1969 in Lake Andes.  The couple lived in Mitchell, SD where they owned and operated a drywall business.  Lila became a certified Massage Therapist and, after moving moving to Armour in 1978, began her own business, LK’s Massage.  She also continued to help Ron hang drywall and cooked at the Pheasant Farm.  She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, enjoyed reading and collected wicker baskets.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Ron of Armour; 4 children:  Rhonda Carson of Salem, SD; Rod (Kim) Woods of Custer, SD; Robin Little of Bend, OR; and Ron Kellogg Jr. of Armour; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Sherri Leisure of Avon, SD; and a step-son, Tony Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard; 2 daughters, Renee and Tanya; and a brother, Orville (Sherry) Dvoracek.
