On February 21, 1972, Pat was united in marriage to Emmett Tapp. Together they were blessed with three children, and Pat also gained a stepdaughter through this union.Pat devoted her career to caring for others, working in mental health services in Winner, South Dakota, and later at Dakota Counseling Institute in Mitchell. She cared deeply for the people she served, giving both her time and her heart. She loved to stay busy and was happiest when she was on the move. A true gift-giver, Pat showed her love and gratitude through thoughtful gestures and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She gave of herself freely and without hesitation.
