Obituary of Roland Richard Fink

   Pierre - Roland "Rolly" Richard Fink, 67, formerly of Armour, died at his home near Pierre on Saturday, August 18, 2018. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church near Armour with burial following in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 2018 from 6 - 8 PM at St. Peter Lutheran Church near Armour with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.

   Roland Richard Fink was born on December 13, 1950 to Richard and Leona (Winter) Fink in Parkston, SD He attended country school through the 8th grade, then graduated from Armour High School. He was in the Mitchell National Guard 665 HEM Company from February 12, 1970 until his honorable discharge on September 14, 1975. He farmed near Armour his entire life. His passionate love for fishing, hunting, and spending time with his nieces and nephews were of importance to him. Rolly was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church near Armour. He died at his home near Pierre, SD on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the age of 67.

   Rolly is survived by his sisters and brother, Louise (Kenny) Weber of Dimock, SD, Lila (Bill) Fergen of Ethan, SD, Robert Fink of Garretson, SD, Lois (Marvin) Powell of Cheyenne, WY, and Lorie (Brian) Whetham of Garretson, SD, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and fishing buddies.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Bryan Weber, and fraternal and maternal grandparents.
