Before every bus ride he would tell us a joke and at the end of the school year he would always take us to the Raiders Roost for an end of the year ice cream cone -he was a very kind and gentle man with a heart of gold - when my oldest brother Mike was little he was so excited mom and dad got a TV he brought Bud into the house to see it - and when you forgot something in the school he always wait for you to run back in and get it a very patient man. Kids respected him because he respected us. If mom ever had any questions that what went on on the bus she could call him - because sometimes he had to be a referee too.
