Armour – Ida Clements, 93, went to her heavenly home Friday, September 21 at Armour Health and Rehab in Armour. Funeral service will be Monday, September 24 at 11:00 am at the United Church of Christ in Armour. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour.

Ida was born October 4, 1924 to Andrew and Lydia (Furhrer) Hochhalter. She attended Armour High School in Armour, SD, graduating in 1942, and Nettleton's College in Sioux Falls, SD. She was united in marriage to Noel Clements on June 22, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA. The couple made their home in Armour where Ida worked for Northwestern Public Service and Morrow Produce. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, UCC Ladies Aid and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the bowling league, delivered Meals of Wheels, loved to play the organ and bells, bake and playing cards.

Grateful for having shared her life are her 2 daughters: Judy (Terry) Plooster of Lemars, IA and Jan (Don) Herrig of Waco, TX; 5 grandchildren: Amy (Dave) Doutre of Thorton,CO; Nathon (Jennifer) Herrig of Largo, FL; Robin Plooster of Lemars; Lori (Dan) Bonderson of Sioux Falls, SD; and Stacy (Rhonda) Plooster of Lincoln, NE; 8 great-grandchildren: Molly Clinton, Mattie Carstens, Kennedy Herrig, Cassidy Herrig, Cassidy Plooster, Taylor Plooster, Mack Bonderson, and Lily Bonderson; and a great-grandchild, Kennedy Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Noel; 2 brothers and a sister.
