Obituary of Rose Cramer

   Stickney - Rose Cramer, 65, died at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 10:30 AM at United Methodist Church in Stickney with burial following in Silver Ridge Cemetery in Stickney. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 5 - 7 PM at United Methodist Church in Stickney with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Stickney, SD.

   Rose Cramer was born on June 10, 1953 in Mitchell, SD to Kenneth and Ida (Crater) Grandrath. She graduated from Stickney High School in 1972. She lived in Storla for a short time where she lived and cared for an elderly woman. She married Edward Cramer on May 30, 1987 in Austin, MN. The couple moved to Stickney where they owned and operated Rose's Greenhouse and Cramer Upolstery. Ed died in 2001. Rose Remained in Stickney and worked at the Coffee Cup. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Stickney. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, embroidery, sewing, flowers, and music. She died on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls at the age of 65.

   She is survived by 3 children, Sara (Darold) Bitterman of Mitchell, SD, Henry (Sonia) Cramer of Sioux Falls, SD, and Ellen Cramer of Watertown, SD, 3 step-children, Vernette (Grant) Derdall of Ethan, SD, Dale (Kevin) Lavely of Carson City, NV, and Cindy (Steve) Vogt of Sargeant, MN, brother, Charles Grandrath of Yankton, SD, 8 grandchildren, and 16 step-grandchildren.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 step-daughters, Sandy Nelson and Carol Jean Cramer.
