Armour - Donna Majors, 86, died at Armour Care and Rehabilitation Center in Armour on Monday, January 30, 2017. Funeral service will be Friday, February 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM at United Church of Christ in Armour with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour. Visitation will be Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 6 - 7 PM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Donna Jean Majors was born March 10, 1930 in Douglas County, SD to Don and Agnes (Harrington) Hawley. She graduated from Ravinia High School in 1948. After many travels she moved back to Armour in the early 1970's. She was a talented cook and loved to golf and spending time with her family. Donna owned and operated the Blue Moon for 5 years and eventually became part owner of the Armour Steak House where she worked as the cook for 19 years. She married Raoul Hickenbotham on January 2, 1999. She died at Armour Care & rehabilitation Center in Armour on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the age of 86. Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Tara (Tim) Scholten of Armour, SD, Ty (Kathryn) Majors of Kearney, MO, Perry Majors (Jody Willimon) of Omaha, NE, and Gary (Vera) Plumb of Ketchikan, AK, step-children, Michele (Thomas) Schmidt of Sioux Falls, SD, Stacey Hickenbotham of Sioux Falls, SD, and Doug (Sheila) Hanneman of Rapid City, SD, 2 brothers, Clair (Evelyn) and Wendell both of Colorado Springs, CO, 6 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raoul Hickenbotham, 2 sisters, Pat and Wanda, brother, Warren, and daughter, Pamela Hill.
