   Due to the winter storm, the visitation for Andrew Wiersma is postpone until Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 1 - 3 PM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour. Therer will be a private burial at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour at a later time.

   Armour - Andrew Wiersma, 94, died at Armour Care and Rehabilitation Center in Armour on Saturday, April 6, 2019 . Visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2019 from 5 - 8 PM at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour. There will be a private burial at a later date in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour.

   Andrew Wiersma was born on June 15, 1924 to Ben and Minnie (Beukelman) Wiersma at Corsica, SD. He attended country school and graduated from Corsica High School in 1942. He took over the family farm near Corsica after the death of his father. Andrew moved off the farm in 1981. He married Wanda Hawley in March of 1985. Wanda died in 1986. Andrew enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, visiting and taking long Sunday drives. He died at Armour Care & Rehabilitation Center in Armour on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the age of 94.

   He is survived by his brother, William Wiersma of White Lake, SD, nieces and nephews that were like his children, Sharon (Howard) Weischedel of Plankinton, SD, Larry Neugebauer of Ethan, SD, Janice (Ron) Junge of Rapid City, SD, and Connie (Bob) Bruske of Ethan, SD, other nieces, and 3 step-daughters.

   He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Jennetta Neugebauer and husband, Lewis and Frances Holzhauser and husband, Raymond, brother, Arie Wiersma and wife, Evelyn, an infant brother, and nephew, Roger Neugebauer.
