Obituary of Raymond J. Baumgart

   Armour - Raymond J. Baumgart, 94, died at Avantara Nursing Home in Armour on Sunday, December 15, 2019. Funeral service will be Friday, December 20, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Armour.

   Raymond J. Baumgart was born to Paul and Johanna (Blum) Baumgart on December 16, 1924. Ray was raised in the Wagner area and worked on the family farm on Route 41, about 13 miles east of Wagner. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching sports on TV, especially the Twins. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Armour. Ray served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1946. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Wagner and served in the Honor Guard Burial Detail.

   Ray was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clarence and Elmer, Sisters, Margaret and Dorothy.

   He will be missed by his sister, Loretta, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
