I had the privilege of working with Teri a very long time ago, but the best nurses you never forget. Not only was she a very compassionate, caring and skilled individual, she was the kindest, warmest person. I worked in a supervisory capacity and when i made rounds in the ICU, I was always happy to see that she was on shift because she always took wonderful care of her patients. I would ask her to report on her patient’s condition and she did in a concise complete way, and always knew when her patient’s condition changed. She would advocate for all of her patients and their families and they loved her. I regret that I lost contact with Teri over the years but I like I said, I haven’t forgotten her. I am sorry for your loss, but her memory lives on. God Bless you all.

Teri was a wonderful person and very dear friend. We miss her and we feel very sad in this moment. But as we listened to the beautiful music played during her memorial service, we were reminded to say "Hallelujah" for the time we had with Teri, for her friendship, and the memories shared. "Hallelujah" for her nursing talents and for all of the peoples' lives she touched in her medical profession. "How Beautiful the hands that served ... and the heart that bled ... How beautiful is the body of Christ." "How Beautiful" were Teri's hands, heart and feet as she carried on Christ's work for those in need. "Hallelujah" and Praise be to Christ for Teri, child of God, our dear friend. "How Beautiful" she was.

Daryl and family,
Our prayers for all the family.
Many great memories from our days of camping & touring the state. Even though we have lived miles apart & have not seen each other recently, I will always remember Terri's wonderful smile lighting up the room. God got an Angel!

I am so sorry for your loss of Teri. We worked together in the 80’s at McKennan in ICU together. She was a great nurse to work with. We had some good times and laughs too. I along with many others are very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. Love Ginny (Oltman) Masse.

My heart aches for the entire Thomas family as they face the tremendous loss of their wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. I had the honor of working with Teri in Mitchell at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. She was always my "go to" nurse for advice and assistance in caring for our patients. When I left for Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, I encouraged Teri to join our Heart Family. She was one of the most caring and compassionate nurses (and person) that I have had the pleasure to work alongside. She was a mentor to so many nurses as they oriented to critical care. Her infectious smile, quick whit, and positive attitude were something to aspire to for so many!! She will be sorely missed by everyone who she had contact with during her nursing career. Rest peacefully, dear friend!! Heaven has gained one of the best!!
