Dimock - Adeline Rosina Elizabeth Storm, 92, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. John Lutheran Church near Dimock with burial at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2017 from 5 - 7 pm at St. John Lutheran Church with a prayer service at 7:00 pm.

Adeline Rosina Elizabeth Storm, daughter of Fritz and Ottilia (Scheetz) Wegehaupt was born on August 4, 1924 in Douglas County, SD. She was one of nine children. Adeline grew up in the Hillside/Flensburg area. She was united in marriage to Lawrence Storm on October 24, 1945 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Dimock. They farmed in the Hillside area most of their married life. Adeline was a nurses aide and housekeeper at Avera St. Benedict Hospital/Nursing Home, Parkston for many years. Adeline liked to quilt, do Word Search, watching game shows on TV and enjoyed tending to her garden, canning and freezing fruits and vegetables.

Grateful for sharing her life are her daughter: Betty (Darold) Mattheis, Parkston, SD; two sons: Lawrence (Ginny) Storm Jr., Port Orange, FL and Gary Storm, Dimock, SD; two sisters: Helen Geidel, Parkston, SD and Margaret (Herbert) Geidel, Parkston, SD; sisters-in-law: Anita Wegehaupt, Parkston, SD; Doris Gerlach, Mitchell, SD; Lucille Storm, Parkston, SD; Gerhardt and Lorraine Storm, Mitchell, SD; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three and a half great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lawrence on January 7, 1993, four brothers, Robert, Arthur, George (Ruth) and Melvin Wegehaupt, two sisters, Rose and Lucille Wegehaupt, three brothers-in-law, Albert (Lea), Otto, and Leonard Storm, four sisters-in-law, Agnes (Ed) Isaak, Bertha (Fred) Diebner, Sophie (Adolph) Goldammer and Erna (Albert) Goldammer, and brother-in-law, Norman Gerlach.
