Obituary of Paul T. Smith

Armour – Paul T. Smith, 64, went to his heavenly home Friday, March 25 at the Good Samaritan Center in Corsica.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 29 at 10:30 am at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Armour.  Visitation will be Monday, March 28 from 6 to 7 pm with a 7:00 pm prayer service at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Armour.  

Paul was born August 4, 1957 to Byrl and Virginia (Clark) Smith in Denver, CO.  He attended Fort Lupton High School in Fort Lupton, CO.  He was united in marriage to Jeanette Herr on June 25, 1994 in Armour, SD.  Paul worked for Dependable Recylcing in Mitchell, SD, Aurora Plains Academy in Plankinton, SD, Trail King in Mitchell, SD and was the maintenance man for the city of Canistota.  He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Armour and enjoyed making model cars and spending time with his grandchildren.
     
Grateful for having shared his life are his 6 children:  Ashley (Casey) Root of Huron, SD; Candy (Lou) Austere; Ian (Amy) Black of St. Louis, MO; Sabrina; Michelle; and Joshua; 11 grandchildren:  Adrianna, Symfani, Celeste, Serenity and Paridise Root, Alexis and Joe Austere, Gabriella and Kaitlyn Black and Braylon and Reily Heinzman; and 4 sisters:  Norma, Phylis, Brenda and Becky.
     
He was preceded in death by his parents, Byrl and Virginia; wife, Jeanette; a sister, Sue; and a brother, Billy.
