Obituary of Lori Lyn Thomas

Lori Lyn Thomas , 60, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Avera Bormann Manor in Parkston.  There will be a private, family memorial service held at a later time.

Lori was born February 18, 1962 in Nebraska.  She attended school in Nebraska before moving to South Dakota.  She attended Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell and graduated with a degree in Behavior Science and Psychology.  She was a loving mother and grandmother who was called "sweetie pie" by her granddaughter.  The holiday seasons were made special by the many baked goods she would make.

Grateful for having shared her life are her 3 children:  Cody Butterfield, Drew McDonald and Kayla McDonald; a granddaughter, Marny Lyn McDonald; her mother, Barbara Einsel; and a brother, Bill Morey.

She was preceded in death by her father.
