Obituary of Ridge James Peterson

Ridge James Peterson was born October 14, 2022 to Jacob and Joni (Blair) Peterson at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.  The happiest moment of his life was when his sister, Oak, got to hold him for the first time.  After more than 5 months of fighting, Ridge went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2023.  Ridge is now resting in the arms of the loved ones who went before him.

Grateful for having shared his life are his parents, Jacob and Joni and sister, Oaklyn, of Geddes; grandparents Wayne and Rhonda Blair of Geddes, Gloriann Navrkal of Sioux City, IA, and Jim Peterson of Ponca, NE; great-grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Navrkal of Jackson, NE and Raynor “Pete” Peterson of Newcastle, NE; aunts and uncles:  Justin (Marti) Blair of Geddes; Jill (Josh) Dibbet and children, Rehme and Jaycee of Geddes; Jordan (Brittany) Blair and daughter, BreLynn of Geddes; Josh Navrkal and son, Joe of Sioux City; Crissy (Kacey) Sykes and son, Kahden of San Francisco; Jordan (Justin) Hanner and children, Grayson and Remi of Sioux City; and Hunter Peterson of Ponca; and his seamstress, Judy Parker.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, William and Ava Pearl Blair, Robert and Adelene Odegard, and Judy Peterson.

A private, family service will be held at a later time.
