Diane Kay Reimnitz Obituary

Diane (Van Gorp) Reimnitz, 68, of Mount Vernon, said ‘hello’ to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.  

Diane Kay Van Gorp was born June 3, 1955 to Gordon and Norma (Putzier) Van Gorp in Mitchell, South Dakota. December 4, 1976 Diane married Ronald Reimnitz in Dimock and made their rural home in Mount Vernon. To know Diane, was to love her. Known for her warm smile, she was the “Jill of all trades” and will be deeply missed by all whose life she touched. Diane loved to crochet, and made many, many afghans and throws for her friends and loved ones. Diane was also proud to be part of the Pink Ladies Dart League, helping those who battle cancer, a pssion she shared with her husband, Ron.  

Diane is survived by her husband, Ron Reimnitz, her brothers Doug (Cheri) Van Gorp, Steve (Julie) Van 

Gorp, Randy (Jennifer) Van Gorp, and sister Marcia (Tom) Coleman. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.  

 

This was not a farewll for Diane. This was “hello” to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  


Services have been entrusted to Koehn Bros. Funeral Home (Parkston).
