Shirley will be remembered as a spunky quick-witted personality, described by her medical Dr. Berndt, who she really liked and trusted with all her heart.  She will be put to rest in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Armour.
I want to take this time for my children, who have always treated me as a mother, have enjoyed my grandchildren and my 30+ great-grandchildren, and have especially enjoyed all our friends and relatives with which we have a special bond, especially with camping and fishing, all while enjoying a BUD ICE.  No one liked my beer so I always had a 30 can case to myself.  I have loved each and every one of you, especially my dear husband and partner of 64 years.  We got to do some traveling, lots of camping in our 34’ RV, just loved it, lots of fishing at Ft. Thompson.
A big highlight of my life was being a group soft lines manager at Alco in Wagner, SD, working there for 17 years.  I just loved it!  My boss was Donn Medick, of Yankton and we have kept in contact ever since I retired.  A very neat guy.  He and Roy could always strike up a good conversation.  Hope you have enjoyed my newsy obituary, it is all truth-no imagination, of course you know me!
See you all in the next life.  I’m going to take care of our youngest son, Larry and grandson, Ross who are waiting for me, until we meet again!  Love You All!!!!!!
Shirley is survived by her husband, children Terry (Bev), Roger(Annette), Todd (Kim), Julie (Rod), daughter in law Mindy and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Sister Erdene (John) Uecker, Wagner and brother Bill (Suzette) Youngstrom, Armour.
