Geddes – Clint John Knudson, 46, went to his heavenly home Monday, September 23, 2024 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls after a courageous battle with colon cancer.  A celebration of Clint’s life will be held Saturday, October 5 at 12:00 pm at the Geddes Community Center in Geddes.  A private memorial mass will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church followed by a private commital service at St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery.  Memorials would be preferred in lieu of flowers and will go towards his son, Jace’s education.

Clint was born on September 1, 1978 to Randy and Crystal (Oleson) Knudson. After Graduating from Armour High School, he started working for Marv VanderPol. He learned many construction skills from Marv. After Marvs passing Clint worked for various construction companies and also did trucking until 2018 when he formed Knudson Backhoe which was his dream.

Clint loved football, throwing darts, boating, snowmobiling, riding motorcycle and “collecting pickups”. He was active in the community and was a volunteer on the Geddes Fire department. Clint loved family get togethers, community gatherings and hanging with his many wonderful friends and family.

He is survived by his father, Randy of Platte SD, daughter Shalee Kaufmann of Sioux Falls, son Jace, and Jace’s Mother, Jenna of Remsen IA, brother Heath (Shannon) Knudson of Platte SD, sister Tonya Knudson of Canton GA and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
