Condolences to Dora's family & Friends. Dora shared a room at The Care Center with my Mom Jeanive Solheim for a while. My daughter Chelsea and I sat alone with Mom at the supper table, and there was no salt shaker at our table. I'd pretend like I was trying to get the salt on Dora's table, without her catching me. Dear Family: I so wish I could be there with you today to remember the life of Dora. My health will not let me. I recall the times when Alvin and Dora came to Montana when I needed them the most, when the folks passed, when Dave passed, to celebrate special events, or when we got to come to South Dakota. there was always a cup of coffee or a meal and a time to visit. When I went to the home to see her, she would look at me and say Gen what are you doing here. How I wish I could give each of you a hug. What a wonderful memory!

In memory of our Mother. Were do I start, maybe here, "How did you do it, all"?. No modern convinces. Matag winger washers, no electic dryer for many years. That was bought later with money from selling a flock of 200 plus geese. Which we raised from goslings from a hatchery, or hatchlings of brodey chicken hens sitting on nests of goose eggs. You taught us to make bread, bake, cook, and sew. That task with me NEVER proved to work. I remember saying, "I'll just buy it". Which you reminded me, "You may NOT have the money". I had an answer for that too, "I'll milk and extra cow". I can laugh at that today, but you knew, even if "I milk and extra cow" may still not have enough. But, I can say, one thing is for sure, I still develop a terrible rash getting close to a sewing machine. All 9 of us couldn't have asked for a better Mother. You have left this world, BUT,,, you will forever remain in our thoughts and in our heart. Thank you for being our Mother. I just uf we done here get out of line, we may still see a yardstick, or fly swather start waving. Rest in Peace, Mom. You well deserve it.LOL.
