Our sincere sympathies to Kathleen and the whole family for the loss of Don. Don was my first cousin, as Bessie was my Dad, Leonard Goemaat's sister. I have fond memories of going to Aunt Bess's and Uncle Frank's for a vacation almost every summer. We always spent time with Don and Kathleen and family also. When they came to Oskaloosa just a few years ago I happened to be at my Mom's, (Geneva Goemaat) and we enjoyed talking about old times. He was always a fun, kind and gentle man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
