Scotland – Wesley Ford Williams, 89, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Good Samaritan Center – Scotland.  Memorial service will be Thursday, December 12 at 10:30 am, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am, at Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Parkston.

Wes was born January 14, 1935 to Everett and Hilma (Harris) Williams in St. Lawrence, SD.  He attended and graduated from Miller High School in Miller, SD.  He served his country for a short time in the Army National Guard.  After his service, he moved to Los Angeles, CA where he worked for UCLA in the payroll office.  He was united in marriage to Sharon Nash and after their divorce, he later married Betty Jenson .  After she passed away he moved to Utah.  He lived in Utah for several years before moving back to South Dakota. He loved his Lord and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Mitchell.

Grateful for having shared his life is his daughter, Juanita Williams Harbaugh of Waterloo, IA; 3 siblings:  Martha Byrum of Redfield, SD; Earl Williams of Temple, TX; and Eros Williams of Sioux Falls, SD; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and 4 sisters, along with several nieces and nephews.
